Work Permit for Students in UK

I understand from the newspaper that Indian Students going to (Britain) UK for higher studies, can not stay to work after completing their studies. Is this new correct, please give me the complete details..

This news is correct. Indian students, who are going to UK for higher studies will no longer be able to stay on to work after completing their higher education. This new regulation comes into effect from today i.e. 06/04/2012.

The number of students applying from India for university courses in the UK commencing in September 2012 has already dropped. This move is likely to trigger a further fall.

The earlier overseas students from non european countries use to apply for employment for at least two years on payment of a visa fee of £500.Now it is being discontinued to reduce foreign students to work in a climate of high unemployment in Britain.

If you have applied to stay under Tier 2, it can be possible to start the Tier 2 job for which your employer has assigned a Certificate of Sponsorship before the UK Border Agency has decided your Tier 2 immigration application, even if it is a permanent full-time job. This applies to you if you have completed a course of study at degree level and you were sponsored by a recognised body or by an institution that receives public funding as a higher education institution. Check with your university or college if it meets one of these requirements.

Ok!! Nice and valuable information. I think UK government doing for betterment of there people. For foreigners who want to work they should come there after knowing all the info about job opportunity in UK. Similar thing happen to Singapore. They are stopping job opportunity but they are tightening the current foreign employment policies.

Study are very important part in all humans who are need to get more success in this modern life and all the things and professions are need just study and knowledge about all things so due to this purpose we just spend our time in study and get admission for our better future in best institutions so I think if we want to make a good citizen we just do study and get more facilities. It is very easy and offered us number of ways to keep our life easy.
