Default Re: Study in USA for Indian Students for 11th grade

If you age is below 18 years, then you may find it difficult to obtain a visa for the US unless you are part of an organised exchange programme. Otherwise, you need somebody who can sponsor you and with whom you can stay.

According to my knowledge academic level at most high schools in the US is rather low so I would say that attending a US high school is not worth the money, especially if you come from India

If you still want to go for it then you must secure minimum 75% marks in 10th standard to get admission in a public school in the US for an Indian student. Many students take the SAT Reasoning Test and/or ACT in the second half of their 11th-grade or junior year. Typically during this year, students interested in attending higher education facilities tend to search at around the second part of that year. Many eleventh-graders in the United States opt to take a foreign language, even though it is not required in many secondary curricula.

I have completed 11th grade and want to go USA for further studies searching for some details. Will you tell what the criteria required to study in USA for Indian students?

United States is the safest place for students, particularly from India, and there is no need for any fear of racism.

Indians were the top-recipient of the high-skilled H-1B visas and were also the second-largest community of international students staying in US.

These universities welcome a large number of international students every year.

Princeton University
Harvard University
Cornell University
Columbia University
New York University

Having a good test score GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL will always increase your chances of getting a scholarship.

Undergraduate GPA / Percentages
Academics are very important for making scholarship decisions.

If you have performed poorly in your GRE or GMAT and you have a high GPA, you still have a decent chance of earning a scholarship.

Most universities place a lot of emphasis on undergraduate GPA.
