THREE YEAR LAW DEGREE COURSE (LL.B.)
ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF THE LL.B. DEGREE COURSE
Eligibility for Admission:
The candidate who is a graduate of Goa University and seeks admission to the first year LL.B. Class, the application should be accompanied by the following documents.

FOR STUDENTS – OTHER THAN GOA UNIVERSITY:
Where the candidate seeking admission is a student of a University other than Goa University, he/she must in addition to above documents, produce the following documents.
1. Eligibility Certificate from Goa University
2. Migration Certificate (in original with true copy)
A candidate seeking admission for LL.B. Degree Course, must be a graduate of a recognised University with 45% marks ( 5% Relaxation to SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate or must possess such academic qualification which are considered equivalent to a graduate degree of a University by the Bar Council of India.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION COMPULSORY
The college shall conduct an entrance examination for such of the candidates who are qualified as above for the purpose of admission. The test shall be of 2 hours duration mainly with objective or short answer questions based on their knowledge of English language, General Knowledge, Current affairs, objectivity and logical reasoning. Admissions will be purely on merit depending on the above mentioned criteria. Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying degree examination are also eligible to appear for the entrance examination provided they fulfil the above mentioned criteria at the time of admission. Candidates desiring to appear for the entrance examination should fill the application form and submit the same to the college office and should obtain their hall tickets. The date of the entrance examination as announced and as mentioned in the hall ticket will not be changed on any account. Examination to be answered in English only. The result of the entrance examination will be displayed on the college notice board.
SCHEME OF RANKING

The aggregate of marks scored by the candidates at the Graduation Examination in all the subjects is converted into percentage. The percentage of marks so obtained is added to the total score at the entrance, this is divided by 2. This is the effective score for ranking for admission to the LL.B. Degree Course. The intake capacity for the LL.B. Degree Course shall be limited to one division of 60 students. Depending upon the intake, the reservation of the seats shall be as follows:
- 2% for SC Students
- 1/2 % for ST Student
- 15% for OBC Students

INTERVIEW
Candidates who have passed the entrance examination test will have to appear for an
oral interview before the selection panel.
ADMISSION TO SECOND YEAR OF THE LL.B. DEGREE COURSE
Only candidates who have passed the first semester examination of LL.B. (Degree) course shall be eligible for admission to the Second Year of LL.B. (Degree) Course Course.
ADMISSION TO THIRD YEAR OF THE LL.B. DEGREE COURSE
Only candidates who have passed the First, Second and Third semester examination of LL.B. (Degree) course shall be eligible for admission to the Third Year of LL.B. (Degree) Course.

STANDARD FOR PASSING LL.B. (DEGREE) EXAMINATION :
The student has to secure 40% marks in each subject
GRACING :
Subject to the rules provided in the ordinance of Goa University, a Student may be graced up to 2% in an individual paper / practical to enable him / her to pass the examination. The gracing will be up to maximum of 4 marks in the individual subject.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION :
The examinations shall be conducted by the University for each semester in the month of October and April every year.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION – PRACTICALS

(As laid down by the Goa University)
A. Practical examination and the day-to-day assessment will be conducted by the college itself. 10 marks shall be kept aside for Viva Voce in each of the practical examination.
B. Review of the marks allotted in practical and allotting of marks at the Viva Voce shall be carried out by a panel consisting of the Principal of the college, One Internal Examiner and one External Examiner. (both to be appointed by the University)

The marks of the practical examination are to be submitted by the college to the university as soon as the college receives the seat number of the examination or in any case before the starting of the written examination.
NOTE :
Practical Papers I, II, III and IV will be taught for all the Three Years and it will be continues process. Assessment will be done as per the Bar Council guidelines.
The assessment will be carried out (conducted) during the Semester V and VI.
The allotment of marks and Viva Voce shall be prior to the commencement of the sixth semester examination.
