Punjab Technical University was established in the year 1997. It is affiliated to UGC, AICTE . It is located at UGC, AICTE .

Admission to MCA course made on the basis of MET/PAM-CAT- to be taken by PTU, Jalandhar.

Eligibility Criteria

85% seats will be reserved for the students of Punjab State

15% seats will be open to students outside the State.

Applicants must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with 50% (45% in case of student belonging to reserved category) from a University recognized by UGC .

Applicants must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 School level or Applicants has passed BCA course of minimum three years duration from a university recognized by the UGC.

Application fees (in Rs.):

For SC/ST & physically handicapped students - Rs. 500/

All others - Rs. 1000/-

Registration will Start from: third week of March, 2015

Last date for submitting of online Application forms: second week of May, 2015

Last date with late fee of Rs.1000: third week of May, 2015

Date of Entrance Test: last week of May, 2015

Declaration of Result: second week of June, 2015
