You want to know the UPSC IAS exam pattern i am giving here:

The entrance for Civil Services is of two stages:

Preliminary Examination (Written)
Main Examination (Written and Interview)

A. Preliminary Examination

Both papers will consist of Objective (multiple choice answer) Type questions only
Both the question papers would be English and Hindi, except for some questions specifically intended to test English Language Comprehension skills, which would be in English only

Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations (Objective Type)
Paper I - (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
Current events of national and international importance.
History of India and Indian National Movement.
Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.
General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization.
General Science.

IAS Exams (Civil Services Exams) are being conducted every year

The Civil Services Exams (IAS Exams) are conducted in three phases.
Phase I: CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) in Agust
Phase II: Mains (Civil Services Mains) in December
Phase III: Personality test (interview) in Feb/Mar of the following year

Preliminary Examination pattern

-There are two compulsory papers of 200 marks each in the Civil Services Prelims Exam.
- Both the question papers are of the objective type (multiple choice questions) of two hours each.
- The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English.
- Blind candidates would be allowed an extra 20 minutes of time at each paper.

Main examination Pattern --

PAPER-I: English 300 marks (Section 1 Essay-200 Marks
Section 2 English Comprehension & English Précis-100 Marks)
PAPER-II: General Studies- I: Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society-250 Marks

Personality Test (Interview)-

The IAS exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year.

Eligibility Criteria:
Interested applicants must have any graduate degree from any recognized University.
Students who are in the final year are also eligible.
Candidate’s age should be between 21 and 30 years.

IAS Exams are conducted in three following phases.

The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts Prelims and Mains examination for post of Indian Administrative Service. The prelims examination has been replaced by another examination. This pattern will be called the Civil Services Aptitude Test or CSAT. In the new paper pattern they plan to have a GS paper and a general aptitude paper.
