Maharashtra State Eligibility Test is also famous and important as Maharashtra SET which is an examination for eligibility of position in Universities and Institutes of Maharashtra. University of Pune, as State Agency will carry on twenty-seventh SET examination in Maharashtra on Sunday, 7th August, 2011.
University of Pune, as State Agency will carry on twenty-seventh SET examination in Maharashtra in the month of November, 2012 University of Pune has invited application form for SET Maharashtra 2012.

SET Maharashtra 2012 admission application form is also available on official website of University of Pune.

Here are the tentative dates of the exam:
Date of examination: last month of November, 2012
Online Form Submission Starts: second week of August, 2012
Last Date of Online submission: second week of September, 2012
Last Date of Hard Copy Submission: second week of September, 2012

Eligibility criteria needed for applying for the exam: Candidates who have done Ph.D. and had cleared Master’s Degree earlier than 19th September, 1991 with minimum of 50% marks (without grace marks as explained above) are also eligible to appear for SET examination.
