Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is an autonomous institute of the Government of Orissa. founded in 1982, the college is affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. IGIT Orissa was formerly known as ‘Orissa College of Engineering’. It carries technical courses in several branches of engineering, at the undergraduate degree and diploma level along with postgraduate level. Apart from engineering courses, this institute offers many technical & computer application based programs. It is provides the placement with advanced knowledge & skills for its students.
