    Candidates Should have passed 2-year Pre-university examination directed through the Department of Pre-university Education, Karnataka State, with English as one of the disciplines, and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional disciplines. The examinee shall have passed disciplines of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also. OR

    Candidates Should have passed 1st year of the 3-year degree course of a accredited university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology containing a practical test in these disciplines offered the examination is an University examination, and the examinee shall have passed disciplines of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually in the Pre-university or other examinations mentioned in the clauses above
