Study in USA General Information: One of the distinguishing features of the American educational system is autonomy of its institutions. The post secondary educational
institutions are normally called colleges and universities. These are not under any central ministry of education. Each college or university has its own programs and sets its own admission criteria for American and international students. Some of the universities have set very high standards of education. There are other universities which are both flexible and less demanding. Under the American educa{ional system accreditation of institutions is being carried out. Both colleges and universities are accredited by accrediting agencies which are non-governmental associations. The accrediting bodies have laid down their norms for the purpose of granting accreditation. These bodies do so only when standard of instruction, qualifications of the members of teaching
faculties, and facilities such as library, laboratory are up to such prescribed set standards. As such accreditation is the sole important medium of evaluation of universities in the United States. Accreditation also facilitates transfer of student from one accredited institution to another. It is therefore advisable to take admission in an accredited institution. Accredited universities are also recognized by Government of India.

Most of the Indian students confront difficulties to choose a college or university in the United States. The difficulty partially arises from the fact that though there are around 3600 higher educational institutions, which are spread over 50 states in the United States. Around 2000 universities offer UG courses and out of that around 1100 offer both Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses both. According to educational experts while selecting the University or college one should make decision on the basis of factors like rankings, size of the University, its faculty, alumni, infrastructure and its location and cost of study.

In US education is costly. But you can try another country also where they offer jobs. Why don't you try for Asian country like Singapore.

According to me doing MS in US is one of the best studies here and many people come for this. Also doing management courses is one the best options. To take admission you will have to apply to various universities there and wait for their response.
