West Bengal State Council Of Technical Education (WBSCTE) JEXPO Entrance Examination
What are the dates of JEXPO Entrance Examination 2012? What qualifications are required for applying for this exam and I also want to know that whether reserved category students of other state will come under the reservation quota or general quota?

Please provide me the date sheet for all Programme for the Diploma in Engineering/Technology (Fulltime Course) for all parts i.e. Part I, Part II and Part III.

Hey Yogesh here are the details for you..

To apply for WBSCTE JEXPO 2012 the candidate should have done secondary education from any recognized board with at least 30% marks in Maths/Physical science and science individually. The candidate must not have born before 01.01.1991 to apply for this exam.

JEXPO Joint Entrance has been organized by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE). It is conducted for admission in various polytechnic Institutes.

Eligibility:
The candidate should have passed 12th class or any equivalent examination. The age limit is 21 years.

Exam pattern:
The exam paper will be of multiple choice questions from the following subjects:

Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry

100 marks are allotted to Mathematics and 100 marks for Physics and chemistry.

There also will be questions from general knowledge, technical studies, mathematics, reasoning etc.

The Exam syllabus will be held as per the latest revised syllabus of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) In last year polytechnic examination.


Tentative dates:
Availability of Application form and information Broucher: From the fourth week of Jan, 2013
Admit cards will be issued: In the last week of April , 2013
Exam Date: In the first week of May, 2013
Result Declaration: In the last week of June, 2013
Counseling dates: From the second week of July, 2013

Application Form:
Application Forms with Information Brochure will be available from all Polytechnics and will be available with Late Fee from the West Bengal State Council Of Technical Education Office, depositing a Demand Draft of Rs.950/- drawn in favour of ‘West Bengal State Council of Technical Education’ payable at Kolkata from the last week of Feb , 2013.

West Bengal State Council Of Technical Education (WBSCTE) conducts JEXPO entrance exam for admission in 1st year of 3 year diploma courses in 62 polytechnics in west Bengal.

Eligibility:
The candidate should have passed 10th class from west Bengal board or its equivalent with at least 30% marks in mathematics and physical sciences/science individually.

Exam pattern/Syllabus:
The exam paper will comprise of the questions from the following sections:
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics

Question Type:
Objective Type
Total Marks: 100
Duration: 2 Hours

The exam syllabus will be based on the 10th class syllabus.
