What is the procedure of applying offline for Bharathidasan University SLET exam 2012? What minimum qualification is required for this exam? If I pay the examination and application fee through DD then will the university accept the payment?

Bharathiar University conducts the SET for recruitment Lecturer for various colleges in Tamil nadu. This Examination has been conducted each and every year. Following are the details of this examination:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have secured at least 55% marks (without grace or rounding off) in Master's Degree or equivalent.

Age Limits
There is no Upper age limit to appear in TNSET Exam.

Bharathidasan University SLET exam 2012:

Eligibility: The candidate should have Masters Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with 55% marks (50% for reserved). The candidates who are in final year can also apply for exam.

Application form: The notification of Bharathidasan University SLET exam will be published in almost all leading news papers. The candidates have to fill the application form on the prescribed format. You can also download the application form on to the official website.

Application Fee:
The candidates have to pay the exam fee in the form of a crossed bank draft.
Cost Of The Exam Fee: Rs.1000 (Rs.750/- for other backward category candidates and Rs.250/- for the SC/ST/PH candidates.

Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET) is organized by the Annamalai University. It is a state Nodal Agency of the UGC under the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The exam is conducted to check the eligibility of the Assistant professor in Tamil Nadu universities and colleges. The exam is conducted within a state in 26 subjects.
Eligibility Criteria



Age Limit:
No upper age limit to apply.

Qualifying Exam:

One should have a Masters Degree or equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi.

Subjects:

The qualifying exam should be passed with subjects, like Sciences, Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science & 5 Applications, Electronic Sciences, Library and Information Science.

Minimum Marks:

One must have secured at least 55% of marks for General/ OBC (belonging to Creamy Layer) Category and 50% for OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/ Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PWD-VI/HI/PH).

Appearing Candidates:

One in the final year of master degree or ones result is awaited can also apply.

TN SET Exam Pattern


The exam will be conducted through offline mode.

The question paper will be published in English or Tamil language for some subjects.

The questions will be of Multiple Choice

1 hour will be provided for paper 1 and 2 hours will be for paper 2.

2 marks will be allotted to each correct answer.
