Ok, I am telling you some best tips for preparation of Delhi University B.Ed Entrance Exam.

DU B.Ed Entrance Exam preparation Tips

Make a routine and stick to it, such that you are able to prepare for all the topics

Refer to basic English books, browse through the topics mentioned above and try attempting exercises related to each topic

You need to make a conscious effort of keeping track of your speed and accuracy to solve the questionnaire.

Solve mock test papers as possible as.

Develop a habit of reading English newspapers on a regular basis. This will help improve vocabulary

Try learning few new words on a daily basis. Also learn their antonyms and synonyms. This way, you would have developed a decent word bank even before you know it

For General Knowledge, you can start following the daily news on television and by regularly reading the newspaper

Revision is the key to keep a sound mind,

Do not think negatively and try keeping a positive mind

DU B.Ed Entrance Exam Pattern

The test will be of three hours duration in which candidates have to attempt 100 objective type questions from four different areas.

Section A: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude

This section is designed to test candidates’ general knowledge and awareness on political, social, economic, and environmental issues.

Section B: Reasoning

This section will analyze candidates’ logical, mathematical, and verbal reasoning abilities. Candidates’ ability to deal problematic situation will be also analyzed here.

Section C: Knowledge Up to Class X

Up to secondary level questions based on understanding and application of concepts in Social Science, Science, and Mathematics will be included in this section.

Section D: Proficiency in Language

This section includes comprehension based questions on both Hindi as well as English.

A General Awareness and Teaching Aptitude 30
B Reasoning 20
C Depth in subject knowledge up to class X 30
D Language Proficiency (Both English as well as Hindi) 10+10=20
