Default National Eligibility Test For MCA

Hello sir, here I came to get detail of National Eligibility Test for MCA candidates? Can any one tell me is MCA pass out candidates applied for National Eligibility Test?

Yes any graduates those who have master degree in any discipline they are apply for National Eligibility Test. With your MCA degree you can also apply for National Eligibility Test.

The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission conducts National Eligibility Test for appointment of Lecturers in colleges and universities and for award of Junior Research Fellowship.

The main objective of the test is to ensure minimum paradigm for the candidates entering in the noble profession of teaching and research.

NET is held twice a year in the month of June and December in 94 subjects across 74 centres in the country.

Eligibility:
Candidates have secured at least 55% marks in Masterís Degree or equivalent examination from Universities/ Institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

Age:
Not more than 28 years.
A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ VH categories and to women applicants.

UGC NET June 2016 Important Dates:

Tentative Date of Single MCQ Exam: 19th June 2016

Online application starts from: 05th February 2016

Last date of online application: 01st March 2016

Last date of online payment of fee: 29th February 2016

Last date for receipt of application: 07th March 2016

Last date for receipt of application for remote area: 14th March 2016

Subjects of the Test

EXAM SCHEME FOR SINGLE PAPER CSIR-UGC NET Exam

UGC NET Exam for Science stream is conducted by CSIR in the following areas: -

Chemical Sciences
Earth Sciences
Life Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences
Engineering Sciences

The CSIR UGC NET pattern for the Single Paper MCQ test shall be as given below:-

The MCQ test paper of each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks.

The exam shall be for duration of three hours.
