Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2012 Application Forms 1. KCET 2012 Brochure – cum – application form will be supplied through the schools / colleges located within the State of Karnataka in which the students are studying for 2nd PUC or 12th standard examination upon submission of Demand Draft for Rupee 650/- to the Principals in advance, drawn in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore”, payable at Bangalore and Rupee 500/- for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Category – 1. 2. The repeater and ex – students who have passed the qualifying examination within the State of Karnataka before 2011 should also submit the demand draft for the above said amount to the respective schools / colleges. 3. The Last date for submission of Demand Draft to the Principals of Schools and Colleges within Karnataka will be 2nd week of March, 2012. 4. The Karnataka candidates residing outside Karnataka ( i.e., Horanadu, Gadinadu and other Karnataka candidates ) who are studying or who have studied 12th standard or equivalent examination outside the State of Karnataka, within the territory of India, can procure the brochure – cum – application form by “SPEED POST”, by sending a self – addressed cloth – lined envelope of size 30 cm X 25 cm along with a Demand Draft for Rupee 750/- drawn in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore”, payable at Bangalore and a Karnataka candidate residing outside India can procure the brochure cum application form by sending a demand draft for Rupee 5000/-. 5. The contents on the self – addressed envelope should be in English or Kannada language only. The cover in which the demand draft and self – addressed envelope are sent should be boldly superscribed with the words “REQUEST FOR CET – 2012 BROCHURE” and should be sent to the following address of Executive Director by “Speed Post” only. The KEA will not take responsibility for the envelopes sent through courier or given in person or through any other private arrangement and also for incomplete and insufficient address on the envelope. The last date for submission of Demand Drafts by “Speed Post” will be 3rd week of March, 2012. 6. The KCET Brochure will be supplied to the schools & colleges in Karnataka & also to the Students who are residing outside the State of Karnataka on or after 4th week of March, 2012. 7. The Karnataka CET 2012 will be a one – day affair and will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority ( KEA ), the new avatar of the CET Cell. 8. The combined Physics and Chemistry paper for 120 marks, will be held during a two-and-a-half hour slot in the morning. In the afternoon, two other papers – mathematics and biology, each for 60 marks – will be held. 9. On May 1, the KEA will conduct the Kannada language test for Gadinadu and Horanadu Kannadigas. You want to apply for Karnataka CET 2012 exam so for this you can get application form from the participating institutes of Karnataka CET or you can get application form by post by sending request along with Demand Draft of rupees 500/- application form fees from any nationalized bank. With Application form you must attached 2 passport size photo, photo copy of score card and address proof.

KCET is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority. It is a common entrance exam for the admission of eligible candidates in numerous Engineering courses. Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates must have Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer-Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study. Candidates must have attained 45% marks in aggregate in optional subjects. Exam Pattern: Exam based on four following subjects: Biology Mathematics Physics Chemistry All these subjects will comprise of the 60 questions each. Application Procedure: Aspirants can seek the application forms from their respective schools / colleges of Karnataka. Candidates must affix their left hand thumb impression with the KCET 2014 Application Form. Candidates should fill all the particulars in this form and should submit it to the principal of their respective colleges / schools. After submitting, candidates must collect their KCET 2014 Admit Cards from the respective colleges / schools on or before April,2014 tentative.
