I want to apply for the UGC National Eligibility Test . Will you please provide information regarding the application procedure ?

Central Board of Secondary Education direct National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges.

Application Procedure :

Fill the CBSE NET 2015 Online Application Form

Pay the Examination Fee

Upload Scanned Photograph

Print Application Form, Admission Card, Attendance Slip

Conditions for Scanned Photograph:-

Passport size photograph in JPG format of 4kb to 40 kb.

The dimension of photograph must be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).

Signature in JPG format of 4kb to 30 kb.

The dimension of signature must be 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height).

Examination Fee:-

General - Rs.600/-

OBC (Non-creamy layer), - Rs.300/-
SC/ST/PwD - Rs.150/-

Applicants can pay exam fee either by credit/ debit card or through e-challan generated during online filling of application form.

In case of e-challan payment must be made in Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank.

Credit card: -1.20% of exam fee plus service tax as applicable.

Debit Card: -0.75% of exam fee plus service tax as applicable.

As last date to apply is over , better luck next time .
Important Dates :

Online Form Submission was 16th April 2015

Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee was 15th May 2015

Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of (Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank) was 16th May 2015

CBSE NET exam was held on 28th June, 2015
