Default What is NTSE exam and please also give eligibility criteria and pattern

I want to give the exam of National Talent Search Examination and for that I want to get the details of eligibility criteria and exam pattern and also what this exam actually is so can you provide me that?

As you want to get the details of eligibility criteria and exam pattern and also what National Talent Search Examination exam actually is so here is the information of the same for you:

It is a national-level scholarship program in India to identify and recognize students with high intellect and academic talent.

Generally and around 1,500,000 students appear in this scholarship exam every year, and 1,000 scholarships are awarded.

It is one of the most prestigious exams in India.

Only students studying in Class X are eligible to appear for the selection process. As it is organized by an official body (NCERT), it is widely regarded by the Government of India as the toughest and most prestigious examination at high school level in the country

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates of lass X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the respective Class X Stage I examination conducted by the States/UTs in which the schools are located. There will be no domicile restriction.

Exam Pattern:
The examination will be conducted in two sessions on the same day.

First Stage occurs in Two Parts:

Part I: Mental Ability Test (MAT): 50 Questions of 50 Marks: Time 45 Minutes

Part II: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) includes

Language Test: 50 Questions of 50 Marks in 45 minutes

Mathematics: 30 marks, Science: 35 marks & Social Sciences: 35 marks Total 100 questions of 100 marks in 90 minutes

More Information:
Each question carries 1 (one) mark.
All questions in the booklets are objective type. For each question FOUR possible answers are given, but only one is correct.
Your task is to find out the correct answer and mark your choice in the Answer Sheet.
On qualifying first stage, students are shortlisted for stage II which is a national level common examination
Those who qualify national level examination face interview with NTSE board and finally 1000 meritorious students are selected every year, throughout India
