There is no problem for you if you don't choose Mathematics as optional subject in 11th Commerce. But, then you will have to do hard work in future for preparing Mathematics, as CA Exam includes Mathematics Questions and you may face difficulty while preparing for this exam.

Therefore I will suggest you to choose Mathematics in 11th as optional subject So, that you may not face any problem in future.

But yes, you can choose other subjects also of your wish if you are interested in that. Decision is totally yours

Yes you can go for CA after 12th without taking maths in 12th class.
The following are the details regarding CA:

You must have passed in 12th class.

You must have a minimum 50% in 12th class.

Generally the exam is conducted in different heads

1. Common Proficiency Test (CPT)

2. Integrated Proficiency Competence Course (IPCC)

3. Final Course

The candidates can register for the Competency Professional Test and the Professional Competency Examination throughout the year.
They can appear for the exam two times a year in May and November.

If a candidate wishes to join for the Competency Professional Test, he/she should have passed 10+2 exam.

If a candidate is having a graduation then they are provided an exception from the Competency Professional Test.
