Default Eligible for IBPS clerk exam after XII with 57%

I have completed class XII with 57%, am I eligible for IBPS Clerk Grade Exam???

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Clerical Cadre vacancies

As you have completed class XII so you are not eligible for IBPS Clerk Grade Exam because minimum eligibility for IBPS Clerk Grade Exam is Graduation

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk Grade Exam:

Educational qualification:
- Must have done degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Must have Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.
- Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

You must be either a
Citizen of India or
a subject of Nepal or
a subject of Bhutan or
a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (form erly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Age limit:

The minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum 28 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:
-Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe 5 years
-Other Backward Classes 3 years
-Persons With Disability 10 years
-Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years
-Widows Divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried 9 years
-Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89 5 years
-Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 years
-Regular employees of the Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service (Applicable to Madhya Pradesh state only) 5 years

After 12th, you can not apply for the IBPS clerk and 12th percentage does not meter in IBPS Clerk. First complete the graduation in any field which you like to do, after it you can apply for the exam.

Here; I am giving you details of the education qualification, so it will be more clear to you.

Education Eligibility:

Candidate should have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
The computer literacy is required.

Age: Age of the candidate should be between 20 years to 28 years, relaxation given to reserved categories.

Selection Criteria: Selection of the candidate based on the written exam followed by the interview.

Written Exam: The exam is for 2 hours with multi choice questions.

1. Reasoning Ability 40 Questions 40 marks
2. Numerical Ability 40 Questions 40 marks
3. General English 40 Questions 40 marks
4. General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry 40 Questions 40 marks
5. Computer Knowledge 40 Questions 40 marks
Total 200 Qs 200 Marks
