I have passed MBA this year and now want to apply for NET exam in 2012. Can I apply for the exam? If yes, please provide me important dates of the exam and if not, tell me which course should I take to be eligible for this exam?

If you have 55% or above marks in master degree course than you can take part in National Eligibility Test. for ST/SC/OBC minimum percentages is 50.
You want to know date sheet of UGC NET exam 2012 so this NET exam will conduct in objective mode from June 2012 onward. Date sheet of exam is still not released but datesheet may release in month of May and you can see datesheet on UGC website.
National Eligibility Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. So you can choose from these subjects that which subjects is suitable for you.
